Bali tourist arrivals in first half of 2014 and change 2014 vs 2013. The number of foreign tourists visiting Bali in the first half of this year represents a 15.7% increase compared with the same period last year.
Australia remains strong, China first time into 2nd place now, Malaysia overtakes Japan that’s slowing down. U.K. the strongest market from Europe. Singapore a whopping 45% up, India +38%.
Meanwhile average hotel occupancy went down from formerly 80% during peak season to now about 60% due to high increase in new hotels and villas in Bali.
